I would suggest you to put the computer in clean boot state to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps to eliminate software conflicts and start the scanning. I am running the scan and it freezes after about three hours, having scanned more than 650,000 files. It freezes at the same place each time I try: IEXPLORER.EXE. Question Info.
